By The Sea Journal Swap
A ONE for ONE JOURNAL SWAP due September 7th, 2005 with the theme of BY THE SEA . . . . Anything to do
with water, the colors blue & green, swimming, relaxing, fish, mermaids, bathing
beauties, boating, sand, shells, birds, and simply enjoying Summer by the water.
Add sticks, leaves, or flowers from your own summertime adventures. Personalize
the journal and tell us something about yourself through your decoration. Please
make or decorate any size journal with this theme ranging in size from as small
as 5" x 7" to as large as 9" x 12". Use any techniques: including watercolor,
twinkling H2Os, other paints, fabric, sewing, collage, stamping, photographs,
transfers, drawing . . .
Work on a purchased journal OR make it yourself from scratch, for someone
else to write in. You may decorate the pages or leave them plain. For those of
you itching to do more fabric, go ahead and make this completely out of fabric!
Or combine fabric & paper. This journal can be as large or as small as you like,
as far as number of pages. ARTchix items are welcome, but are NOT a requirement
for this swap, which was due in my hands by Wednesday, September 7th, 2005. Here are
all the journals I received to swap out! There were 19 participants.
