Another Round Robin I am participating in through the Fabric-olics Yahoo Group! This exchange is running from September 2006 -February 2007 ~ with participants divided into 3 groups. The photos here will show the books of Group #1 and what I added to the books as well as how I created my own book. This exchange is based on the book created by Susie LaFond and published in the magazine, Cloth, Paper, Scissors, issue 5 (Winter 2005).

exchange between 4
friends who love to work with fabric. We each start with our own bag - mine
is shown here, BEFORE alterations. It gets passed around RR fashion and each
one of us has a chance to add something to each other's bag. FUN! Click on

This
is the the fifth in a series of an Altered Book Round Robins. First
hosted in 2000 by Helga Strauss of ARTchix Studio, and then from 2001-2004 by Shauna
Palmer. Wow! In 2005, this RR is hosted by Studio Beau, aka
the creatively fabulous and fun ~ Miz Ann Peterson!
2005 artchix studio fabric book rr:
After
seeing fabric pages from the "One page at a Time" RR that I hosted in 2004,
Helga Strauss - the owner of ARTchix Studio, told me she would love to be involved in
an exchange like this -- could we do a fabric book exchange ARTchix style?
Why, yes! Helga and I
gathered together 12 talented artists for this Round Robin
that ran from September of 2004 to September of 2005.

a collaborative fabric book:
This was the second time Ann Peterson and I worked together, sending our artwork back and forth to create collaborative books and this time, we created fabric books! We both had such an interest in fabric and we wanted to try something different from our previous collaborative effort. We began this project in January of 2004 and finished our collaborative fabric books in October of 2004.
2004 fabric book round robin:
In 2004, I gathered 5 talented and enthusiastic artists together to do a FABRIC PAGE RR I called "One page at a Time". Our group started with one fabric page and/or a cover and then the pages were sent around the group in Round Robin fashion. Each time pages were received, a page was added. When the round was complete, participants could bind the collaborative pieces into a book or simply enjoy!
