Earth Time Lapse View From Space

In the car today I was listening to npr (national public radio) and to Terry Gross interviewing astrophysicist Saul Perlmutter. It was hard to wrap my head around their conversation, but I did my best and told Steven about it later because I found it so interesting. Right before I told him about the interview, which was about supernovae, Steven sent me a link to a video he saw on a news site. It was serendipity! The video was also about space, but more specifically, looking at the earth from space. It was created from time lapse sequences of photographs taken with a special low-light 4K-camera by the crew of expedition 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October, 2011. If you are not reading this on the blog and cannot see the video below, you can view it here with this link. As Steven told me, Go FULL SCREEN on this video!
