A creative swap!

For the first time in a few years I am hosting an Art Swap once again! I started hosting swaps way back in 2002, but when we moved in 2012, I simply needed to take a break. Steve & I had moved house a number of times, my dad had passed away and I just needed to pause and take a break. I did not know it would take me 3 years to return! I left the creative swaps blog hibernating on the internet and just last week when I decided to revive it, it did not take long to spruce it up and announce a new swap.

I'm sharing this to let you know that after I announced it on the creative swaps blog, 28 participants quickly registered. I was delightfully surprised! I am taking 35 players in total, so there are 7 spaces left if you would like to join the Inspiration Collage Swap - follow the link for all the particulars . . .

I'll send you the base to work on (5x5 squares) and an inspiration packet of collage bits. I also upload a photo of each participant's swap peices as they come in, for inspiration and sharing. It is truly great fun, I am known to be pretty organized and have always gotten good feedback. I hope you will join us, the 5x5 collages need to be in my hands January 30th, 2016.

The highest prize we can receive for creative work is the joy of being creative. Creative effort spent for any other reason than the joy of being in that light filled space, love, god, whatever we want to call it, is lacking in integrity.

enjoy the day!
