Liberate Your Art postcard swap

These are my 5 postcards for the swap.

My friend Jewels joined the Liberate Your Art 2015 postcard swap and when I saw the postcards and envelope she had done I decided right then and there that I must join too! This art swap was different from any other I had done because it specified something I had not seen before. . . Artists in any medium. Photography, painting, poetry, typography, jewelry, sculpture, knitting, cooking, illustration – you name it. If you can have an image of your art printed on a postcard, you are in!

The big difference was the part about PRINTING your art onto a postcard!

Three of the postcards were photos of a recent art journal page and two were copies of some favorite mail art postcards I created in the past and had photos of. I used www.moo.com to make very professional looking postcards from photos of my art. It was easy to do and they look great. It is a good thing to have your art printed, I can see why the swap organizer had us do this! The swap is closed for participation now but is run on a yearly basis, so you may want to read about it HERE. There is a mailing list there you can sign up for to get notified about next years swap!

Of course I had to create a mail at envelope for the hostess when I sent my postcards in . . .

Envelope made from a magazine page

Back of the envelope! :o) What fun, I look forward to receiving my returns!
