The 5th prompt for Muse30 is MINT - read about it! Tammy, from Daisy Yellow has a great new series of prompts available called Muse30 - because there will be 30 prompts for art journaling by the time the list is finished. I find them very helpful because she encourages freedom in your interpretation of the prompt. I am free to wander and explore and play! Tammy describes Muse30 like this: "Introducing a new series of art journal prompts designed to help you JUMP directly into a new journal page... a remedy for the blank-page-syndrome." Yee-ha, says me! :o) More about the prompts HERE.
I have mint growing in my garden, or I should say, taking over my garden, so I used this prompt quite literally and did a bit of nature printing. Mint also has a very strong childhood memory associated with it for me, so here's how it panned out - below.
I really enjoyed working with the minty colors of green, the leaves and the smell, mmmmm! Plus I enjoyed journaling and writing about my Grammie and the Creme de Menthe parfaits we used to have! yum. I felt grown up being able to have that dessert . . .
happy days . . . then & now, because I do believe that . . . . .
