more space to cover

The Urban Journal I made in a free class with Roben-Marie had been calling to me. I typically leave it out, open to the next page, on the counter of my studio office. It is larger than my pocket journal, 8-1/2" x 11" instead of 4-1/2" x 5-1/2". The smaller pocket journal is really easier to work in, but the larger Urban Journal gives me more space to experiment!

I wanted to add some art to the pages and started to reach for the acrylic paint in tubes. As I was reaching I saw the container that said: Squeeze Paints . . .  hmmmm. So on a whim, I brought them down and experimented.

I also did the facing page . . .

It was really just fun to experiment and have fun doodling and laying color down, yum!

I hope you are diving in too, whenever you can.

Art is too much fun to be restricted to those who are good at it.
