Color Play: Steve and I collaborated on this painting in 2006. Steve: "One or the other starts a piece, then turns it over to the other artist. At that point it goes whatever direction the other artist wants to take it – there are NO RULES!"
A detail of our collaboration. I used a favorite brush with really long hairs to make those black marks.
In 2013, Steven made a beautiful kayak paddle for me and then painted it to match our collaborative painting!
