Last weekend, Steve & I took a couple of days away to celebrate the anniversary of the beginning of “us” as a couple. We met way back in 1972 when we were teenagers - 15 & 16. Since that meeting we have always been friends . . .
I just wanted to share these photos that I took on October 17, 2018. I did a quick run down to the dock with my Google Pixel 2 phone and used no processing or filters. Only pure enjoyment and peace to look at! Enjoy . . .
A couple of weeks ago I was doing a few quick gel plate prints because I had saved some interesting leaves I wanted to print . . . I also used some leftover white paint like a mask with the gel plate, printing on top of some old calendar art . . .
I’ve finally gone through my double exposure photos and made a Gallery on my website to share them with you. Many people have told me how much they like these layered photos and I find them so interesting and such creative fun to make! I’ve used Photoshop . . . .
“We ❤ Mail Art” is a small group of friends consisting of Jo Urbani, Julie Welsh & me. Since 2013, the three of us have exchanged art on a theme or technique a few times a year, placing an emphasis on Mail Art -see some examples via that link. It’s a lot of fun . . .
