New doodles in my Pocket Journal

I am really enjoying the quick bursts of art time I've had recently in the Pocket Journal I made, following directions from Rae Missigman. Here’s the link if you would like to check the workshop out. No affiliation - simply, highly recommended! There are a lot of great teachers out there, Tammy Garcia of Daisy Yellow Art is another that comes to my mind. Online classes are actually easy to follow and I like that I can almost always do the lessons at my own pace. The teachers and projects inspire me and before I know it, I'm off and running, completing a new project.

Here's my latest page in my pocket Journal. My "art marks" consisted of doodling and writing words after inking a background with ink pads. There was a small bit of a map from Jupiter Artland in Scotland from when I went there in 2014. I played off of that. It was fun and did not take me long . . . but I feel like I still have my hand in working creatively!

Trust that still, small voice that says, This might work, and I’ll try it.
