pocket journal page (yay!)

I had a wonderful time being away but was really glad to get back to arting in my pocket journal yesterday. I brought a small notebook and some pens & pencils with me in a zippered cloth pouch, but I never reached for them. I was content taking photographs and visiting with the family! It took me a few days to get back into the swing of things once we were home, especially with family visiting here in Florida, but . . . .  as you can see, I've jumped in again!

Simple collage, an art pop, plus paper scraps: Lights? -from Steve's notes, part of an old cookbook page of mine, an old ledger page, and my favorite spray inks. This little pocket journal (how to make one is an online class) has lots of pages but they are very small, easy to do and truly a joy for me to fill.

What have YOU been working on while I was gone? Do you have any links for me to check out? :0) Leave me a comment below!

You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.
— Henry David Thoreau
