I finished my pocket journal!

Yes! This was a fun project. I made this small, pocket journal last September following the instructions, then filled it with my art over 14 months . . . but who’s counting! It was a process that was really enjoyable.

Lots of Layers

I thought about doing a quick fabric project for my 100 project but soon noticed that working/playing in my art journal was calling to me more. I knew I was not done with trying out my new stencils by Terri Stegmiller! I concentrated on the design I had not played with yet and ended up using it repeatedly, in layers . . . .

The sea has it's pearls: Week 14 DLP

I enjoyed working with fabric for my last challenge page, so I thought I would explore that idea some more. I found a piece of fabric that reminded me of water but it was brown. So I used my watercolor briques to color on it directly so it was a bit more blue. Spritzed it wiith water to activate. These briques have been used and abused but still do the job well . . .

I love to create mail art. My pieces often have rubber stamping all over the envelope. I still use lots of stamps from my days working in an Art Rubber Stamp Store. It's a quick way to add art! Although, mail art can be so many different things . . . This card is from the Ringling Museum in Florida . . .
